MINSK, 22 June (BelTA) – Poland will host the 3rd European Games in 2023. The decision was made by the General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees in Minsk on 22 June, BelTA has learned.
The organizers intend to arrange a competition of the best athletes of the Old World in Krakow.
Thus, Poland will pick up the relay race baton from Minsk, which is hosting the 2nd European Games these days. Over 4,000 athletes from 50 countries are competing in 15 sports in Minsk.
The 1st European Games took place in Azerbaijan’s capital city Baku in June 2015.
