MINSK, 18 July (BelTA) – The international caravanning meeting will take place in Minsk Oblast ahead of the Second European Games MINSK 2019, Deputy Director of the Tourism Department of the Belarusian Sports and Tourism Ministry Vitaly Gritsevich told the media on 18 July.
“The plans are in place to hold a caravanning meeting in Minsk Oblast some 2-3 days before the start of the Second European Games. This year saw a third meeting, and perhaps the next one will be a record high in the number of participants. Jointly with the Transport Ministry we are working on a map with information on camping sites,” said Vitaly Gritsevich.
In his words, the caravanning movement is very popular in Europe. “It needs to be further developed in Belarus. Visitors coming here, for example, from Ukraine or Russia would like to see the same level of service as in Europe. The work in this area will be continued,” Vitaly Gritsevich added.
