MINSK, 31 January (BelTA) – The Minsk European Games merchandise lineup will feature about 70 merchandise items, Maksim Koshkalda, the head of marketing and advertising at the Minsk European Games Organizing Committee (MEGOC), told the media on 31 January, BelTA has learned.
The MEGOC has concluded agreements with more than 20 official license holders and over 20 food license holders who will put their products on sale in early March.
“The 2nd European Games merchandise sales have already kicked off with cups and souvenir magnets hitting the shelves. We tracked the demand for the merchandise during the ISU European Figure Skating Championships in Minsk. Figures showed that the sales were a success. The merchandise during the 2nd European Games will be available at 25 venues of the city, the athletes’ village and four fan zones,” Maksim Koshkalda said.
He added that the merchandise will be produced by Belarusian enterprises, with an emphasis on quality and affordability. The branded products will stay on sale after the Games.
