MINSK, 27 June (BelTA) – Belarus’ Nadzeya Makarchanka and Volha Klimava won the Women’s C2 500m silver at the 2nd European Games 2019 in Minsk on 27 June, BelTA has learned.
The Hungarian duo of Virag Balla and Kincso Takacs claimed the champion title in 2:11.129. Belarus clocked 2:12.294 to place second. Bronze went to Russia’s Olesia Romasenko and Kseniia Kurach (2:14.194).
In 2017, Nadzeya Makarchanka and Volha Klimava received the World Paddle Awards (WAP) in the Sports Junior category.
The success of Nadzeya Makarchanka and Volha Klimava at Zaslavl Regatta Course is one of the career’s best for the Belarusian duo.
