MOSCOW, 27 May (BelTA) – During the talks in Moscow on 27 May, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei invited his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov and all Russians to come to Minsk for the 2nd European Games that will take place on 21-30 June, BelTA has learned.
“Our meeting is taking place in the run-up to an important event – 2nd European Games that will kick off in Minsk in several weeks. We invite Russians to visit Belarus during this large-scale, stunning and spectacular sports event,” Vladimir Makei said.
The minister noted that Minsk expects to see about 4,000 athletes from 50 countries. “Belarus will give a warm welcome to all visitors. I hope that you will also get an opportunity to visit this event,” Vladimir Makei said.
