Lesik the Fox to attend LTeam festival in Lithuania

MINSK, 31 January (BelTA) – The mascot of the 2nd European Games, Lesik the Baby Fox, will take part in the LTEAM Winter Challenge 2019 that will take place in Lithuania’s Druskininkai in February, BelTA learned from the Directorate of the 2nd European Games 2019.

Apart from traditional competitions among professional athletes and amateurs, the event will feature a show of mascots of teams and clubs from Belarus and Lithuania. Lesik the Baby Fox will introduce everyone to the 2nd European Games and will invite them to visit Belarus and enjoy the showdown that will unfold in Minsk in June.

Mascots of Belarusian sports teams were invited to take part in the forum for the second time. They will entertain participants of the festival and will try to win the show. Last year the victory went to the host country.

The LTEAM Winter Challenge is arranged by the National Olympic Committee and the Olympic Fund of Lithuania and the Vilnius Challenge association.
