MINSK, 1 November (BelTA) - The national organizing committee for the Second European Games held a regular meeting which was chaired by Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov, BelTA learned from the press service of the government.
The committee examined the catering program of the participants of the games, Interior Ministry employees and other categories of people to be involved in the event. The committee members also heard a report on the progress in the project to develop the European Games information-technology platform and to provide internet access to the facilities to be used during the competitions.
The meeting participants also considered the issues related to the opening and closing ceremonies of the Second European Games and the marketing proposals from foreign companies.
The contest for the best mascot and the information campaign in preparation for the event were also on the agenda.
The committee also heard a report on the schedule for the preparation of the venues that will host competitions and practice sessions during the Second European Games.
