MINSK, 1 August (BelTA) - Development of the IT platform of the 2nd European Games was discussed at a regular meeting of the European Games national organizing committee chaired by Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov, BelTA learned from the website of the government.
The meeting examined the development of the information-technology platform of the 2nd European Games and the catering program.
Deployment of the temporary infrastructure at sports facilities and the Directorate of the 2nd European Games 2019 was also among the agenda items.
The 2nd European Games will take place in Minsk on 21-30 June 2019. Over 4,000 athletes from 50 countries will compete in about 200 medal events in 15 sports. Competitions in 10 sports will be qualifiers for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
