MINSK, 7 March (BelTA) – The BRSM Youth Union will form a group of volunteers to help Minsk transport company “Stolichny transport i svyaz” during the European Games, First Secretary of the Minsk Committee of the BRSM Youth Union Sergei Klishevich told BelTA.
“The group will include 50 students of Minsk colleges and universities. They will assist the Minsk transport company “Stolichny transport i svyaz” by monitoring the transport situation in the city and informing them of any disruptions. They will also help guests and participants of the European Games to get to sport venues, places of accommodation, and tourist sites,” Sergei Klishevich said.
He noted that a special uniform will be designed for the volunteers. “It will make it easy for guests and participants to spot them. Members of the group will work at transport stops and hubs of the city. All volunteers of the group are required to speak foreign languages,” Sergei Klishevich added.
Minsk will host the 2nd European Games on 21-30 June. Over 4,000 athletes will compete in 15 sports.
