MINSK, 27 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian quartet of Marharyta Makhneva, Nadzeya Papok, Volha Khudzenka and Maryna Litvinchuk claimed the Women’s K4 500m silver at the 2nd European Games on 27 June, BelTA has learned.
Anna Karasz, Danuta Kozak, Tamara Csipes and Erika Medveczky of Hungary won the event in 1:41.526. Belarus clocked 1:41.654 to finish second. The Polish team of Karolina Naja, Katarzyna Kolodziejczyk, Anna Pulawska and Helena Wisniewska secured bronze in 1:42.851.
The Belarusian team clinched bronze in the event at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
