MINSK, 17 June (BelTA) – More than 1,100 foreign fans and participants of the 2nd European games have arrived in Belarus, with most guests coming from Poland, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.
“As of today the border service has cleared more than 630 foreign nationals as part of the visa-free entry for Minsk 2019 ticketholders. Most guests are citizens of Poland: over 210 people. Belarus has so far welcomed around 70 citizens of Germany and 32 citizens of France. A total of 475 participants of the games, including 69 representatives of the UK and 37 representatives of Germany have already crossed the Belarusian border,” the State Border Committee said.
Participants and fans of the games are entitled to priority customs clearance via special corridors designated with the games logo.
Minsk 2019 is the second European Games and will feature approximately 4,000 of the continent’s best athletes from 50 nations competing in 200 medal events across 15 sports.
Tickets for the European Games are available at www.minsk2019.ticketpro.by, in the box offices of the official ticket operator Ticketpro and also in more than 300 points of sale across the country. Tickets can be bought through a noncash settlement. For this it is necessary to fill in an application, providing a phone number and fax and submit it to minsk2019@ticketpro.by or by fax 8-017-392-67-70.
