MINSK, 5 February (BelTA) – Belarus will publish maps, guidebooks, and mini encyclopedias for the guests and participants of the 2019 European Games, Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Vasily Zharko said at the final board meeting of the Information Ministry on 5 February, BelTA has learned.
The Information Ministry is to decide on the list of printed products in the near future. The materials will be published in the Belarusian, Russian and other languages. According to Vasily Zharko, the target audience of the maps, guidebooks and small encyclopedias are the guests and participants of the Second European Games.
Vasily Zharko took stock of the performance of the sector in 2017 and welcomed a positive momentum in its development. He outlined a number of tasks for the Information Ministry in 2018, including the control over the mass media’s compliance with the national legislation, improvement of the economic performance and the organization of the Belarusian Written Language Day.
