About 80 selfies sent to MINSK 2019 photo contest

MINSK, 13 August (BelTA) – People from around the world are taking part in the photo contest “MINSK 2019: My Salute to the 2nd European Games” organized by Radio Belarus of the Belarusian State TV and Radio Company jointly with the Directorate of the 2nd European Games 2019, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian State TV and Radio Company

“The contest “MINSK 2019: My Salute to the 2nd European Games” arouses interest all over the world. About 80 original selfies have already been submitted and their number keeps growing,” the press service noted.

A thematic page of Radio Belarus feature selfies from India, China, the United States, Germany, Pakistan, Finland, Ukraine, Russia, Bangladesh, Algeria, Nigeria, Vietnam and Tajikistan. For example, several participants from Pakistan sent photos from a Kabaddi match, a popular local game played during holidays.

Belarusians joined the campaign too. Adults and children pursuing an active lifestyle welcome participants of the forthcoming large-scale sports event.

To take part in the contest, one should take a photo (selfie) while doing sports or against the background of a sports facility. Photos must be hashtagged #MINSK2019. Photos can be sent to minskgames2019@gmail.by by 25 October 2018. Applications can also be submitted to the website of Radio Belarus www.radiobelarus.by. Participants can send only one photo.

The best shots will be uploaded to the website www.radiobelarus.by in the Contest section. Interim results will be announced during the program My Salute to the 2nd European Games on Radio Belarus.

Winners will be awarded diplomas of the Belarusian State TV and Radio Company and receive tickets to the sports events of the 2nd European Games and a set of outfit of Belarus’ national team.
