“We are very glad to have this opportunity to meet in person. We have many things in common with you. Our National Assembly strives to develop and deepen relations. One of the goals of this visit is to draft an agreement to set up a friendship group with Belarus. Our speaker clearly outlined this task. In order to advance our relations to a new level in line with the principles of friendship and solidarity, we propose to develop a multi-faceted cooperation agreement,” Arling Patricia Alonso Gómez said.

We have approved several ordinances and agreements of mutual understanding between our countries. For example, a memorandum in education, which Nicaragua has already enacted. There is also an ordinance that provides for the establishment of an intergovernmental commission and a visa-waiver agreement,” Arling Patricia Alonso Gómez added.
