MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) – Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei met with Helga Schmid, Deputy Secretary General of the European External Action Service, in Minsk on 24 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

The parties discussed the state and prospects of development of the cooperation between Belarus and the European Union on a wide range of issues, including the participation of Belarus in the Eastern Partnership initiative.
