MINSK, 21 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent birthday greetings to Catholicos Karekin II of All Armenians, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Your tireless service makes significant contribution to the establishment of Christian values, moral guidelines, and the ideals of charity and justice in the modern society,” the message of greetings says.

Alexander Lukashenko is convinced that the selfless work of Karekin II will continue to contribute to the strengthening of trust and friendship between the Belarusian and Armenian peoples. The head of state wished him health, longevity and inexhaustible energy in his high pastoral mission.
