MINSK, 20 October (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko had a phone conversation with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on 20 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The Serbian President again warmly congratulated Alexander Lukashenko on his victory in the president election.

The two leaders discussed the most pressing issues of the Belarusian-Serbian cooperation in trade and economic area, and agreed to take measures to intensify bilateral trade.

Alexander Lukashenko and Tomislav Nikolic also agreed on joint steps to overcome the crisis phenomena in the economic sphere stemming from the difficult situation in the international economy.
