MINSK, 16 December (BelTA) – Integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into policy planning will help measure Belarus’ achievements in the field of sustainable development, Deputy Economy Minister Tatiana Brantsevich said at a meeting with experts from the UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub and the UNDP Office in Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry.
The event was also attended by representatives of the Finance Ministry and the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of Belarus. The parties explored promising avenues of cooperation in the field of financing sustainable development.
The UNDP experts presented the organization’s initiatives, such as public and private partnerships in financing sustainable development, Tax4SDGs, and integrated national financing mechanisms. As a result of the meeting, the parties thrashed out cooperation plans for the future.
