MINSK, 15 November (BelTA) - We need stable contacts between the Eurasian Economic Union and the European Union, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said following a meeting with Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei in Moscow, BelTA has learned.
“We took note of the significant potential of interaction between the Eurasian Economic Union and the EU. Unfortunately, this potential is still untapped. We continue to believe that there is a need to develop stable contacts between these two integration associations,” Sergei Lavrov said.
According to him, this will contribute to building a shared continent, Eurasia, a territory of peace, stability and broad cooperation.
