MINSK, 10 February (BelTA) – Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Head (Minister) of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Didier Burkhalter have exchanged greetings as the two countries mark 25 years of the diplomatic relations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The letters of greetings were exchanged during the meeting of Charge d’Affaires of Belarus to Switzerland Pavel Matsukevich and Head of the Europe, Central Asia, Council of Europe, OSCE Division of the Federal Department for Foreign Affairs of Swiss Confederation Nicolas Bruhl.

The ministers of foreign affairs emphasized the robust ties of friendship between the two countries, a considerable potential for developing bilateral cooperation and interest in its expansion.
