MINSK, 13 April (BelTA) – Belarus and China agreed to strengthen strategic cooperation. The issue topped the agenda of the visit of State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Mezhuyev to China on 7-10 April, BelTA informs.
Alexander Mezhuyev met with Meng Jianzhu, Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China. The parties agreed to expand all-round strategic cooperation between the two countries.
The State Secretary of the Belarusian Security Council also met with Minister of Public Security, member of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Guo Shengkun, Minister of State Security, member of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Geng Huichang, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission Xu Qiliang, President of China Great Wall Industrial Corporation Yin Liming, and President of China Aerospace Long March International Trade Company Guo Zhaoping.
