MOSCOW, 4 November (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Burkina Faso to Russia Antoine Somda on 4 November. The parties discussed ways to intensify the political dialogue between the two countries, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.

“The parties exchanged views on topical matters of bilateral cooperation. Igor Petrishenko and Antoine Somda discussed ways to strengthen the political dialogue between Belarus and Burkina Faso, including through exchanges of visits at different levels, expand the bilateral trade and economic ties, and develop the legal framework for cooperation,” the press service said.

Diplomatic relations between Belarus and Burkina Faso were established on 25 November 1992.
