Belarus, Brazil discuss ways of intensifying political, economic cooperation

MINSK, 28 June (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to Belarus Bernard Jorg Leopold de Garcia Klingl, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Belarusian-Brazilian cooperation across a number of issues on the bilateral agenda, including the intensification of political, trade and economic ties with an emphasis on agriculture and food security, education and sport.

The parties exchanged views on topical issues of cooperation within the framework of international organizations, and also discussed the current situation in the region.
