MINSK, 13 February (BelTA) – Belarus has been named among top ten countries with the lowest crime rate and a high safety and security level in the Crime Index for Country 2017 compiled by Numbeo.
Belarus ranks 10th out of a total of 125 countries.
Qatar tops the ranking. The top ten also features Singapore, Austria, the United Arab Emirates, Georgia, and some other countries.
Estonia seats in 12th, with Azerbaijan in 18th, Armenia in 19th, Poland in 30th, Latvia in 40th, Lithuania in 50th, Russia in 67th, Kazakhstan in 72nd, and Ukraine in 85th.
The crime rate is the highest, according to the ranking, in Honduras (123rd), Papua New Guinea (124th), and Venezuela (125th).
