MINSK, 8 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed Decree No. 301 “On innovative projects”, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.
The document approves amendments and addenda to Belarus’ innovative development program for the period of 2016-2020. The decree amends the list of projects that are critical for the country’s innovative development. The list features 21 new projects. The number of measures to expand the country’s innovative infrastructure is revised upwards.
The document gives the go-ahead for using innovative funds to finance nine projects in the regions. Among the recipients will be Borisov Plant Avtogydrousilitel, Krasny Pishchevik, Orsha Tool-Making Plant, and Baranovichi Machine Tool Accessories Plant.
The decree is expected to encourage innovative activities in economy branches and regions of the country. It will facilitate the development of innovative infrastructure and establishment of new high-technology manufacturing enterprises.
