MINSK, 19 March (BelTA) – A draft ordinance on the stimulation of employment has been submitted to the Council of Ministers of Belarus, head of the main department for taxation of individuals of the Taxes and Duties Ministry Mikhail Rassolko told reporters on 19 March, BelTA has learned.
The Council of Ministers is currently harmonizing the draft ordinance with other bodies. Then the document will be submitted to the head of state.
Mikhail Rassolko remarked that the draft ordinance specifies the categories of individuals who will have to pay taxes. For example, parents of little children and disabled people will be exempt from taxes. The representative of the ministry stressed that the document aims to eradicate practices when officially unemployed able-bodied people get shadow incomes, do not pay taxes and enjoy all social benefits provided by the state.
