Even though the control over the production process at Belarusian enterprises is very strict, and the companies try to keep their recipes and technologies as trade secrets, the Belarusian pastry and bakery brands have started to open their doors to tourists. Today tourists can visit the famous confectioneries Kommunarka and Spartak (chocolate treats), Slodych (cookies), and Vitba (breakfast cereal and wafers), the zefir and jelly fruit candy producers Krasny Pischevik.
