MINSK, 3 May (BelTA) – The jury of the singing competition at the Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk will be led by People’s Artist of Russia Valery Leontyev, director of the forum, head of the World Association of Festivals Alexander Sidorenko told a press conference on 3 May, BelTA has learned.
The jury of the children’s competition will be chaired by art director and chief conductor of the Presidential Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Babarikin.
Representatives of 28 countries will take part in the singing and children’s competitions of the 25th International Arts Festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk. The entry list has already been compiled. Alexander Sidorenko noted nearly 20 qualifying rounds had been held in various countries. He attended some of them and spoke of a high level of singing skills of the vocalists.
The 25th edition of the Slavonic Bazaar will be attended by representatives of at least 40 countries. The list of the participating countries can be further expanded.
The 25th International Arts Festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk will take place on 14-18 July (additional events will be held on 12-13 and 19-20 July).
