MNSK, 11 May (BelTA) – Belarus’ first aqua park Lebyazhy opened its doors to the public on 11 May, BelTA learnt from the press service of the facility.
The water park Lebyazhy is one of the CIS biggest and fifth largest park in Europe. Occupying 38 hectares, the park includes an open-air children’s water town with a swimming pool and attractions, a landscape park with bike tracks and sports grounds. The facility, 32135 square meters big, comprises a water park, an attraction Dark Ride, a family entertainment center KaZki, a gym, SPA Territory center, a thermal area, a beach party area, a hotel, Australia’s Country Chicken fast food restaurant, seven bars and an eco-zone.
The park features 13 slides with the Viper Water Slide being the pride of the facility. The attraction is 200m long and 20m high. The park’s fastest slide is Wizzard Mat Racer (the maximum speed is 7.3m/s). The attraction is 97.2m long.
The park also features water play areas for children over 3. They include direct and spiral mini slides, multi-level platforms, stairs, nets, waterfalls. The attractions are in the entertainment center KaZki. The center also features a 5D cinema and a number of amusement machines.
The ticket pricing varies depending on the day of the visit and the age of the client. Two hours in the park from Monday to Thursday will cost Br80,000 for children aged 4-13, Br100,000 for 14-17 year olds, Br120,000 for adults, Br90,000 for retirees (over 60) and people with disabilities. A visit to the water park on Friday-Sunday or festive days will cost Br150,000 for adults, Br 100,000 for children aged 4-13, Br120,000 for 14-17 year olds, and Br110,000 for pensioners and people with special needs.
Fitness centers occupy 630 square meters of the park. One aerobics, pilates, callanetics, stretching or dance class will cost Br65,000. a one-on-one fitness training session will cost Br110,000.
The facility also features Russian, Greek and Finnish saunas, a salt spa therapy room at the SPA Territory center. A two-hour visit to the center will cost Br200,000.
The Terrasy club will feature beach parties, special guests, creative and music projects.
The Aqua Minsk Hotel will become operational in September 2014. The hotel will offer 102 rooms eight two-floor houses. There is a car park for 124 places.
The park will be able to accommodate 7,800 people a day in summer and 6,700 visitors in winter.
