MOSCOW, 11 December (BelTA) – Minsk resident Vladislav Khandogy won the 15th international television contest for young musicians The Nutcracker that was held in Moscow on 2-9 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia.
The pianist took the first place in the keyboard instrument category and won the public vote.
The finalists performed at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall and were accompanied by the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra.
The annual contest was founded by the TV Channel Kultura 15 years ago. It is the only academic music forum on the Russian television that welcomes young musicians from around the world. The final of the competition is broadcast live.
