MINSK, 18 January (BelTA) – Nadezhda Skardino of Belarus finished second in the 10K pursuit of E.ON IBU World Cup 6 in Antholz, Italy on 18 January, BelTA has learnt.
The clean-shooting Belarusian made the distance in 31:06.6, 1.6 seconds behind the winner, Andrea Henkel of Germany, (31:34.05, no penalties). Third came in Tora Berger of Norway, 6.6 seconds back.
Leader of the Belarusian national team Darya Domracheva was leading after two prone stages. In the standing she got four penalties and finished fifth, 30.7 seconds back.
Lyudmila Kalinchik of Belarus came in 23rd (2:30.9 back; two penalties). Anastasia Duborezova finished 35th (3:22.7; 4).
In the overall standings Darya Domracheva remains second with 455 points. Tora Berger of Norway moved up to the top of the chart scoring a total of 461 points. Kaisa Makarainen is third with 444 points. Nadezhda Skardino goes 24th (220), while Lyudmila Kalinchik is 49th (55).
