MINSK, 6 February (BelTA) - Mariya Shkanova of Belarus won the Slalom gold at the 28th Winter Universiade in Almaty, BelTA has learned.
In her most favorite discipline the Belarusian clocked 1:32.57 to top the podium. Second was Monica Hubner of Germany, 1:32.67. Bronze went to Sweden’s Louise Jansson, 1:32.80.
Earlier, Mariya Shkanova won borzne in the Alpine Combined and silver in the Super-G.
With six (three gold, two silver and one bronze) medals, Belarus is tenth in the overall standings in Almaty.
