ISLAMABAD, 5 October (BelTA) – Belarus can be an investment window to Europe for Pakistan, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at the opening of the 4^th Belarus-Pakistan Business and investment Forum in Islamabad on 5 October, BelTA has learned.

“Of course, the enhancement of Belarus-Pakistan investment cooperation will promote the economic growth of Pakistan and Belarus. And the businessmen and entrepreneurs present at this meeting should play a crucial role here,” the President believes.

Unfortunately, the counties have not achieved a lot in this field yet, Alexander Lukashenko remarked. “However, your economic progress, the expansion of its foreign investment potential create good preconditions for turning Belarus into a true investment window to Europe for Pakistan,” the head of state said.

The President remarked that over the year Belarus and Pakistan have exchanged four official visits at the top and high level. Business and investment forums were held as part of every visit. It means that the sides are eager to develop productive relations between the business circles of Belarus and Pakistan.
