MINSK, 22 August (BelTA) – Ruslan Aslanov will represent Belarus at the 2015 Junior Eurovision after winning the national selection for the international song contest that took place in Minsk on 21 August, BelTA informs.
The singer got the symbol of the national selection contest – a crystal microphone.
Competing for the right to represent Belarus at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest which is due in Sofia, Bulgaria in November 2015 were seven soloists, one duo and two bands.
The winner of the national selection contest was determined by simultaneous voting of the audience and the professional jury (50/50). The song Volshebstvo (Magic) won the hearts of both the audience and the jury.
According to the press service of the Belarusian Television and Radio Company, Ruslan started singing when he was 6 years old. He studies singing in the Play Studio. The young singer has taken part in numerous international song projects. The singer views all his victories as important, placing emphasis on the Children’s New Wave contest where he finished third last year and Voice. Children contest (Ukraine).
