MINSK, 25 August (BelTA) – Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry is expected to pay a visit to Belarus on 27-28 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The visit of the Egyptian minister of foreign affairs will be the first one in the history of the bilateral relations between the two countries,” the press service said.
The program of the visit will include a number of high-level meetings, including at the National Assembly of Belarus, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade.
“The meetings will highlight the issues related to the expansion of the Belarusian-Egyptian comprehensive cooperation, including the progress made in the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level during the visit of the President of Belarus to Egypt in January 2017,” the ministry added.
