MINSK, 16 November (BelTA) - Minsk Forum 2017: Belarus, Germany and the EU: Eastern Partnership, Economic Relations and Civil Society will bring together approximately 300 participants, chairman of the forum Rainer Lindner, told the media on 16 November BelTA has learned.
“The event will draw about 300 participants from Belarus, Germany, other EU countries, and also the neighboring states of Belarus. There will representatives from the United States,” Rainer Lindner noted.
He expressed satisfaction with the fact that this year the event will be attended by Vice Chancellor, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Sigmar Gabriel and Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei.
“The Minsk forum will be held for the 15th time, but it was founded 20 years ago. So we can assume that this will be a jubilee edition of the forum,” Rainer Lindner said.
In his words, the forum will be dedicated to economic and administrative reforms required for the successful development of Belarus, e-government, interaction between the center and regions, investments, and cooperation with foreign companies.
