ASHGABAT, 26 March (BelTA) – the Belarusian service center is slated to open in Ashkhabad in December 2015, Chairman of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich informed Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in a meeting in Ashgabat on 26 March, BelTA has learned.
Construction of the service center for Belarusian equipment is currently in progress and is on track to be completed in Q3. The official opening is scheduled for December.
Originally it was supposed to be a MAZ service center. However, later a decision was taken to build an integrated facility.
Mikhail Myasnikovich believes it was a right decision to apply an integrated approach: the center will handle the sale of equipment and spare parts, carry out pre-sale and after-sale service, and train personnel.
The Chairman of the Upper House of the Belarusian Parliament is in Turkmenistan on a working visit on 24-28 March. He is set to meet with Chairperson of the Mejlis (Parliament) Akdja Nurberdiyeva, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Ereshov, and other officials. On 25 March Mikhail Myasnikovich visited the construction site of the Garlyk mining and processing factory. The Belarusian Speaker is also scheduled to visit the construction site of the service center, and the Belarusian-Turkmen trading house.
