Dinamo National Olympic Stadium
The Dinamo National Olympic Stadium in Minsk is a world-class multifunctional arena.
Dinamo was officially inaugurated on 12 June 1934: this date is considered the birthday of the arena. Following a large-scale reconstruction completed in 2018, the stadium received the status of one of the advanced sports facilities in Europe. Dinamo offers the best training opportunities for professionals and amateurs alike. On 21 June 2018, the stadium was awarded the IAAF Category 1 certificate. In October 2018, the arena was assigned UEFA Category 4.
The stadium has a modern track and field track by the Italian company Mondo. The field is covered with natural glass and can host football games. Dinamo has sectors for long jump, high jump, pole vault, and also for triple jump, shot put, javelin, discus and hammer throwing.
Over its history Dinamo has hosted national and international tournaments and matches: the football tournament of the 1980 Olympic Games, the 2nd European Games, the Europe-USA athletics match, the 2nd CIS Games.
