Lida Castle, a fine example of 14th-15th century defensive architecture
Lida Castle was built in the 1330s and formed a part of the line of fortifications in Novogrudok, Krevo, Medininkai and Trakai. The Castle has an unequal four-corner shape with the eighty-metre sides and two corner towers. The walls are 2m thick at the bottom and 1.5m thick at the top and are 15m high
