Champignon farm in Shchuchin

The first farm in Grodno Oblast to cultivate champignons with the output capacity of 2,400 tonnes a year went operational in Shchuchin in April 2018. The farm is located in the vicinity of a former military airfield. It took a year to set up the hi-tech production facility there. The manufacturing process is fully automated, computers and equipment regulate the microclimate, manual labor is used only at the last stage.
