Belarusian Autoworks (BelAZ trademark) was founded in the town of Zhodino in September 1948. The BelAZ produces dump trucks, frontal wheel loaders and bulldozers, breakdown trucks, special-purpose transport for underground works, special-purpose heavy-load vehicles. The company employs nearly 10,000 professionals. The company has developed over 500 modifications of dump trucks with the carrying capacity ranging from 27 tonnes to 320 tonnes. 130,000 BelAZ dump trucks have been exported to 70 countries. Belarusian Autoworks ranks third in the world dump truck market and is among the world’s top seven producers of mining equipment.
