Bagration Operation Memorial
The 7-meter bas-relief features the figures of four commanders who took part in the operation: Konstantin Rokossovsky, Georgy Zhukov, Pavel Batov, and Mikhail Panov. The figures of the commanders are surrounded by upcoming Red Army men and partisans. The memorial is topped by two arrows from the battle charts with the names of the liberated towns on them. They symbolize the main directions of the attack against the enemy’s army. At the bottom of the memorial there is a bronze imitation of dikes, log roads, which were used to transport hardware across the swampy lowland Bridsky Mokh near the village of Rakovichi.
