MINSK, 9 November (BelTA) – I intend to meet with representatives of political parties of Belarus, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a meeting with Speaker of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova, BelTA has learned.

One of the topics of the meeting was the preparation for the upcoming parliamentary elections. "You have a whole host of issues that will need to be monitored during the preparation and conduct of the elections. Tomorrow we will discuss them more specifically at a meeting with representatives of the parties that have passed registration and that, as far as I understand, intend to participate in the parliamentary elections," the head of state said.

"We have said frankly and honestly that we will participate in the elections in every possible way. I am referring to the vertical of power. This is a very important campaign in Belarus. There is nothing more important than the political campaign next year," the Belarusian leader stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko recalled that after the elections the country will form the Belarusian People's Congress and elect delegates.
