MINSK, 27 December (BelTA) – Belarus chose its entry for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest on 26 December. The duet Uzari & Maimuna won the national selection organized by the Belarusian TV and Radio Company, BelTA has learned.

The finalists of the national selection for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest included: 1. Napoli; 2. Lis; 3. Dariya; 4.Gunesh; 5. MUZZART; 6.Valeria Sadovskaya; 7. Rostany; 8.Zhanet; 9.Alexei Gross; 10. MILKI; 11.Uzari & Maimuna; 12. Beatrix; 13. Vitaly Voronko; 14. Anastasia Malashkevich; 15. Тasha ODI.

Eight points was the highest score the entry could get during the mixed voting: one (1/8) point from TV viewers and seven points (7/8) from the jury. The band Muzzart got the biggest number of televotes. The band Milki came second, Uzari & Maimuna landed in the third place. The expert jury gave the highest number of points (7/8) to Uzari & Maimuna. Thus, the duet will represent Belarus in Vienna.

Taking part in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Austria will be 39 countries.
