MINSK, 27 January (BelTA) – The 21st edition of Minsk International Book Fair will be held in the Belarusian capital on 5-9 February, Chairman of the Union of Writers of Belarus Nikolai Cherginets told a press conference on 28 January, BelTA has learnt.
According to Nikolai Cherginets, partaking in the forum will be representatives of 23 countries. Both the national book publishing industry and Belarusian authors will be widely presented.
The 21st Minsk International Book Fair will be held at the national exhibition center Belexpo. The program of the fair will include book presentations, meetings with writers and publishers, seminars and roundtables. Iran was the central exhibitor of the fair last year while Russia was the Guest of Honor.
Among the organizers of the forum are the Information Ministry of Belarus, Belkniga and Makbel Companies.
