MINSK, 7 August (BelTA) – Head coach of the Belarusian national ice hockey team Glen Hanlon is expected to arrive in Minsk on 10 August, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation.
The parties have already approved the 2014 IIHF World Championship training plan for the national team. One of the main things Glen Hanlon is to do once he arrives in Minsk is to compose the coaching staff. It is planned that Dinamo Minsk senior coach Oleg Mikulchik will be one of Hanlon’s assistants. The Canadian is expected to decide on the others soon. The contract between the BIHF and Glen Hanlon is valid for two years and may be prolonged for one year.
