MINSK, 12 January (BelTA) – A gala concert on the stage of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Hall will mark the 75th birthday of USSR and Belarus People’s Artist Vladimir Mulyavin, BelTA has learned.
The concert on Vladimir Mulyavin’s birthday is an annual project of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Hall and the Vladimir Mulyavin Museum.
Today Vladimir Mulyavin would turn 75. His anniversary will be celebrated with a grand gala concert featuring well-known Belarusian singers. Vladimir Mulyavin’s concert-portrait will be held for the first time. The concert will include the composer’s hits, including Aleksandrina, Zavushnitsy, Budochnik, Kalyadachki, Slutskiya Tkachykhi, Vozvrashcheniye, Chyrvonaya Ruzha, his remixes of Belarusian folk songs such as Kasiu Yas Kanyushynu, Yak Ya Yekhau Da Yaye, A U Poli Vyarba and many other songs.
The concert will feature singers Yadviga Poplavskaya and Alexander Tikhanovich, Anatoly Kasheparov, Piotr Yelfimov, Yan Zhenchak, Yekaterina Degtyareva, Andrei Kolosov, Marina Vasilevskaya, the ensembles Pesnyary, Kamerata, Svyata, Kupalinka that will be accompanied by the Belarusian Zhinovich National Academic People’s Orchestra led by People’s Artist of Belarus, Professor Mikhail Kozinets.
