Rio 2016: Olympic champion Vladislav Goncharov

Flawless performance, beauty and composure, clear and safe positions on the trampoline and, of course, psychological fortitude… In Rio the Belarusian trampoliner Vladislav Goncharov did his best to prove he is a champion!

Competing for Rio medals were all leaders of the world rankings: Chinese Gao Lei and Dong Dong, Masaki Ito of Japan, Russia’s Dmitry Ushakov and Andrei Yudin, and, of course, Belarus’ Vladislav Goncharov… The Belarusian placed second in the qualifying and produced an impeccable show in the final. As a result, the Olympic podium featured representatives of two countries – Belarus and China: Vladislav Goncharov (gold), Dong Dong (silver) and Gao Lei (bronze).
