The visit of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia was timed to the 1000th anniversary of the Repose of the Holy Equal-To-The-Apostles Prince Vladimir, the celebrations of the Cathedral of All Belarusian Saints and the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
