Health resorts in Belarus: Naroch

The Naroch district is rightly called the tourist ‘pearl’ of Belarus. Amazing beauty and purity of nature, dozens of "crystal" glacial lakes, including Lake Naroch, which is the largest in the country, mineral water and therapeutic mud, mild temperate climate – all these have turned the place into the largest and most famous health resort of Belarus.

Thousands of Belarusians and foreigners visit health resorts and tourist facilities, campgrounds and secluded places on the shore of Lake Naroch. According to surveys, the Naroch resort is one of the most popular in the CIS. The famous resort occupies 98,000 hectares, almost 93% of the territory of the National Park Narochansky: guests can enjoy pristine landscapes and see absolutely unique landmarks.

Thanks to the ambitious state program to develop the resort zone, Naroch has changed rapidly: now there is modern infrastructure in addition to the picturesque landscapes. The program helped refurbish health resorts and tourist sites, upgrade the hotels and a leisure center, equip the new eco-routes and design sightseeing routes, create the Park of Rare Plants and the exciting Safari Park, found an unusual "Pharmacy Garden" with plantations of aromatic herbs.
